Bonded Washers — EPDM Rubber Bonded Washers for Weatherproof Fixing in Steel & A2 Stainless Steel

Bonded washers consist of a metal washer with an EPDM rubber layer bonded to the face, which compresses against the material being fixed on installation to form a weatherproof seal around the screw head. Used extensively in roofing, cladding and facade applications, they prevent water ingress at the fixing point — a common failure area in external construction without proper sealing.

Available in three diameters in standard steel and two diameters in A2 stainless steel, covering the most common fixing sizes encountered in sheeting, cladding and external fixing work. The stainless steel versions are the correct specification for coastal environments or any application where long-term corrosion resistance at the fixing point is required.
